Catherine is a freelance writer who specializes in travel and food.  A first generation American, she has stamped through five passports and has relatives on four continents.

Her first travel experience came at an early age on a family trip to Europe. There she visited Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Austria and the Island of Korcula, off the coast of Croatia. On this tiny Adriatic Island, she met some of her Croatian cousins for the first time.

Her parents, born in Argentina, came to the United States in the 1960's looking for opportunity and a new life. Through her father, Catherine caught the travel bug. Always wanting to venture out and explore, Catherine was fortunate enough to visit such countries as Argentina, Australia and Japan in addition to Canada and Mexico. Most recently, Catherine’s trips have taken her to New Zealand and England.

A favorite activity, born of necessity, is getting acclimated in a new city with the use of a map. From the age of 15 when her father handed her a street map in Melbourne, Australia and said, "You’re the navigator," Catherine has enjoyed finding her way in each and every new location.

Having received her BA from Chapman University, Catherine began her career working for corporations.

She now enjoys writing and traveling, but not necessarily in that order.
